[ 03 ] Why cybersecurity
Why take cybersecurity measures?
The numbers don't lie. Cybersecurity is essential to protect your business against cybercrime. [ 04 ] Our approach
How a pentest engagement with Tozetta works

1. Introduction
We get acquainted without obligation, online or over a cup of coffee. During this free conversation we explore together whether a pentest, vulnerability scan or AI security scan fits your organization best.
2. Scope & proposal
Describe the desired scope through our interactive online questionnaire. Based on your input we determine the best-fitting solution and you receive a no-obligation proposal.
3. Approval & onboarding
Once approved, we plan the start date and begin onboarding. Through an online questionnaire you easily provide all the information we need.
4. Kick-off
On the agreed start date our specialists get to work. Throughout the engagement we keep you updated on progress.
5. Reporting & debrief
You receive an interactive report via Tozetta Reports with an improvement plan. Our ethical hackers also walk you through the findings and recommendations in a personal conversation.
6. Ongoing partnership
We believe in long-term partnerships. With vulnerability scanning and AI-scanning we continuously monitor new risks and structurally strengthen your organization's digital resilience.
Everything about running a pentest
What is a pentest?
A penetration test, or pentest for short, is a controlled security test that assesses your organization's digital safety. The main goal of a pentest is to uncover vulnerabilities, security gaps and misconfigurations in systems, applications and networks before cybercriminals can exploit them.
During a pentest, an ethical hacker manually searches for weak spots. The specialist works the same way a malicious hacker would, but strictly with permission and with the goal of improving security. Afterwards you receive an extensive report with the vulnerabilities found, the possible risks and concrete recommendations to structurally strengthen your security.
What happens after a pentest?
After the pentest you receive an extensive report in Tozetta Reports, an interactive portal where you can export tailored or complete reports yourself. We also plan a personal debrief of about an hour with the ethical hacker.
After a successful first engagement we often build further with solutions such as Continuous Vulnerability Scanning or AI-scanning, so new vulnerabilities are caught in time.
How does a pentest work?
A penetration test starts by defining the scope and objectives. Together we determine which parts of your IT environment will be examined, internal and external networks, web applications, mobile applications, cloud environments or OT systems, hardware, or a combination of environments.
Next, an ethical hacker runs advanced vulnerability scans to map known vulnerabilities and security risks. The real value of a pentest, however, lies not in the scan itself but in the manual analysis that follows, uncovering complex security issues that automated scanners often miss.
During execution we keep communication short and transparent. Findings can be shared directly via Tozetta Reports, so you have real-time insight into progress and any critical vulnerabilities.
What does a pentest cost?
The cost of a pentest depends on the size, complexity and type of environment being tested. That's why we always start with a no-obligation introduction or a QuickScan. Based on that information we get a clear picture of the systems, applications or infrastructure that need to be examined, and can put together a fitting proposal.
This means you never pay for more testing hours than needed, and our ethical hackers have enough time to carry out the pentest thoroughly. Within 1 to 2 working days you'll receive a transparent, tailored quote including a clear scope and price, so you know exactly where you stand, with no surprises afterwards.
